About Prof. Jae-Ang Sim Prof. Jae-Ang Sim is an Orthopedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon with +15 years with focus on artificial joint replacement and reoperation of failed artificial joint surgeries.  Prof. Sim is a professional member of the Academic member of the Korean Orthopedic Sports Medicine Association since 2017, and the Academic committee member of the Korean Society of Joint Spine since 2016. He is also the Legislative member of the Korean Orthopedic Society since 2019, 4th and 5th reviewers of the independent review procedure of the Ministry of Health and Welfare since 2017 and Health Insurance Review & Evaluation Specialist since 2017. He did his graduation from Kyungui University School of Medicine, followed by PG studies in Public Health, and then Ph.D. He underwent training for biomechanics in sports medicine & arthroplasty at Harvard Medical School in 2010-11.  He is an expert artificial joint surgeon, who also performs reoperation of failed artificial joint surgery, besides treating osteoarthritis of the knee, inflammatory arthritis, sports medicine and arthroscopy, lower extremity fractures, failed fracture treatment and osteomyelitis.  He has several research papers to his credit which are published in reputed research journals.
