About Prof. Kamil Yalçın POLAT Prof. Kamil Yalçın POLAT is a renowned General Surgeon at MEMORIAL ATAŞEHİR HOSPITAL. He has more than 29 years of experience in Organ Transplantation, Oncology Surgery, and General Surgery.  He completed his graduation from Atatürk University Medical Faculty in 1986 followed by General Surgery Specialty Education from Atatürk University Medical Faculty Department of General Surgery in 1991.  He has been honored with several awards and recognitions.  He has 28 articles published in journals from SCI-Expanded and more than 100 national articles published. He has attended several vocational education, training, and conferences.  He is actively associated with various organizations including the Turkish Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery Society, Turkish Surgical Association, American Society of Transplant Surgeons, and International Hepatopancreatobiliary Association.
