About Prof. Kim Beom Gyu Prof. Kim Beom Gyu is a leading General Surgeon with an experience of +25 years in performing surgeries of the digestive system. Prof. Gyu holds professional memberships of the Korean Surgical Society, The Korean Society of Coloproctology, The Korean Society of Traumatology, Korea Society of Clinical Oncology and The Korean Society of Endoscopic & Laparoscopic Surgeons. After completing Bachelor’s and MD in 1994 from Chung-AngUniversity, he did his Master’s and Doctor’s degree in 1998 and 2004.  In 2013-2014, he attended training as a research fellow at Cleveland Clinic.  He is particularly interested in laparoscopic and robotic surgery for the treatment of colorectal cancer.  Prof. Gyu is an expert at performing surgeries for colorectal cancer, hemorrhoid, anal fistula and hernia.  He has published many well-researched scholarly articles for various reputed journals, national and international.
