About Prof. Kim Yeong Dae Prof. Kim Yeong Dae is a highly qualified and leading Surgeon with +25 years of experience in performing surgical procedures and treating ailments of the thoracic region.  Prof. Dae is an eminent personality and holds professional memberships of the Korean Lung Cancer Society Councilor as  Planning Committee member, the Korean Society for Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery as Councilor, the Korean Society of Hospice Palliative Care of which he is a Director of the Busan Gyeongnam Branch. He is also the Director of the Korean Society for Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Vice Chairman of the Judging Committee and the Vice Chairman of the Ulsan Gyeongnam Branch of Busan. Among his international engagements, he is a Full Member of the World Lung Cancer Society (WCLC).  Prof. Dae is a graduate of the Pusan ​​National University College of Medicine, and did his Master’s in Science at the Pusan ​​National University. He also majored in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery from Pusan ​​National University Hospital. He also acquired further training at the Japan National Circulatory Center. He is also a specialist in trauma surgery and intensive care.  Prof. Dae is a specialist in thoracic surgery with focus on thoroscopic surgery, lung disease, trauma and treating general chest disease.  During his career he served in various leading positions of renowned hospitals and medical centers.  Prof. Dae is the author of various scholarly articles for reputed journals.
