About Prof. Kook-Yang Park Prof. Kook-Yang Park is a reputed Heart Transplant Surgeon with +30 years of experience in performing surgical procedures and treating cardiac diseases. Between 1981-88, Prof. Park completed his MD, MS and Ph.D from the Seoul National University College of Medicine.  He further went on to obtain training in heart and heart-lung transplant at the Arizona Medical University Hospital, Dr. Copeland, 1990. In 1992, he received training at  Coronary Artery Transplant Surgery and Heart Lung Transplantation (Dr. Reitz, Stanford Hospital, USA). Prof. Park is an expert heart transplant surgeon who has been treating heart failure, heart valve disease and coronary artery disease. His contributions to journals explore the nutritional, therapeutic and surgical aspects of cardiothoarcic surgery.
