About Prof. Kuk-Hui Son Prof. Kuk-Hui Son is a Cardiac Surgeon with +15 years of experience in surgically treating cardiac diseases. Prof. Son did her Ph.D in 2009 from the Korea University College of Medicine. During her +15 year long career, she acquired extensive experience as a doctor and professor.  Prof. Son is an expert at surgically treating coronary artery disease, heart disease, rheumatic heart disease, diseases of the pulmonary vessels and the aorta, tissues of the heart and heart valves.  In her research papers, Prof. Son examines several different aspects of cardiothoracic surgery.
