About Prof. Kyung-won Seo Prof. Kyung-won Seo is a GI Surgeon with +18 years of experience in performing various surgical procedures. Prof. Seo is an active professional member of the Korean Surgical Society, the Korean Gastric Cancer Association, the Korean Laparoscopic Gastrointestinal Surgery Study Group and the Korean Society of Endoscopic & Laparoscopic Surgeon. He also holds memberships of the Korean Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, The Korean Hernia Society and the Korean Antireflux Surgery Study Group. He completed his MD from Kosin University, College of Medicine (2000), followed by M.M.Sc in 2010 and Ph.D in 2017 from Kosin University Graduate School. Between 2008-12, Prof. Seo attended several workshops in China, Korea and Taiwan to acquire advanced training in laparoscopic surgery and laparoscopic hernia surgery. Prof. Seo is an expert laparoscopic GI surgeon, laparoscopic hernia surgery and metabolic obesity surgery. He has to his credit, several scholarly articles published in reputed journals.
