About Prof. med. Dr. Esther Troost With 17+ years of experience, Prof. Dr. med. Dr. Esther Troost is a radiation oncologist who is known to bring new research findings into clinical application. Her clinical expertise includes image-guided radiation therapy, stereotactic radiation therapy and intensity-modulated radiation therapy. She is a member of national and international committees such as ESTRO, ESHIMT, CTI, DKTK, NCT, EORTC Radiation Oncology Group, DEGRO, DRG, ESTRO, NVRO and European Thoracic Oncology Group (ETOP). Dr. Esther is a reviewer of scientific journals, namely The Journal of Nuclear Medicine, Nature Scientific Reports. She has numerous publications in international high-ranking journals. She has won a couple of renowned prizes, such as the ESTRO Varian Award, reflect her clinically relevant and patient-oriented research. She completed graduation from Radboud University Nijmegen (NL), Netherlands followed by a doctoral degree from Medizinische Hochschule Hannover. She did specialty training at Eberhard Karls University Tübingen, Aberdeen Royal.
