About Prof. N. Dilek BAKAN Prof. N. Dilek BAKAN is a well-experienced Chest Diseases & Tuberculosis Specialist at Memorial Sisli Hospital.  She has more than 20 years of experience in her field of specialization. She graduated from ISTANBUL UNIVERSITY CERRAHPAŞA MEDICAL FACULTY in 1994 followed by postgraduation from YEDİKULE GÖĞÜS HASTALIKLARI VE GÖĞÜS TRAINING AND RESEARCH HOSPITAL in 2001.  She has 15 international, 19 national scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals. She has presented papers at 43 national congresses. She has attended many courses, symposiums, and congresses mainly related to lung transplantation.  She has been honored with various awards and recognitions.  She is actively associated with various organizations including the Turkish Thoracic Society, Lung Transplant Working Group Secretariat, Turkish Respiratory Research Association, Lung Health & Intensive Care Association, Associations Against Tuberculosis, and European Respiratory Society.
