About Prof. Ofer Amir Prof. Ofer Amir is a cardiologist having more than 32 years of expertise. Services provided by him includes cardiological procedures. A graduate of the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Prof. Amir completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Texas, Texas Medical Center after his IDF army service, and served there as a chief medical resident.  His Cardiology fellowship was at the Lady Davis Carmel Medical Center, Haifa.  After his cardiology rotation, he held a fellowship in heart failure/heart transplant and cardiac mechanical support.
