About Prof. Park Joong Min Prof. Park Joong Min is a leading General Surgeon with +21 years of experience in surgically treating GI tract cancer and diseases.  Prof. Min is a professional member of the Korean Surgical Society, the Korean Gastric Cancer Association, International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders and the Korean Laparoscopic Gastrointestinal Study Group. He is also a Scientific committee member of the Korean Society of Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons and the Korean Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. In 1998, he did his MD from Korea University, College of Medicine, Seoul. In 2003, he did his BS from Korea University, Graduate School, Seoul and Ph.D in 2008. Prof. Min is a specialised surgeon of stomach cancer and also performs antireflux surgery and bariatric and metabolic surgery, besides treating gastroesphageal reflux disease, morbid obesity and endoscopic hernia repair. His other interests include, laparoscopic surgery including robotic surgery and GI surgical oncology. He has several research papers published in various medical journals.
