About Prof. Seung Hwan Yoon Prof. Seung Hwan Yoon, an experienced Spine Surgeon of +24 years of experience is reputed for performing spine-related surgeries. Prof. Yoon is a professional member of many medical societies, some of which are, the Scientific Board of Korean Spinal Neurosurgery Society of which he is a Director, Korean Spinal Deformity Surgery of which he is a President, the Korean Spinal Neurosurgical Society, the Korean Neurosurgical Society Member in the World Federation Neurosurgical Society(WFNS) and the North American Spine Society(NASS). Prof. Yoon passed his graduate examination from Yonsei University in 1990. In 1998, he completed his Master’s degree from Inha University followed by MD in 2001. During his extensive career, he worked as a Visiting Professor with the University of California, Los Angeles, University of California San Diego and at Stanford. His research interests include, stem cell therapy associated with spinal cord injury and bone fusion materials. His clinical interests include spinal deformity, spinal trauma, degenerative spinal disorders and spinal cyberknife. Prof. Yoon has co-authored numerous research papers where he has published his findings of studies and his observations from them.
