About Prof. Volker Ewerbeck Prof. Volker Ewerbeck is a renowned Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon with 24+ years in the field. He is a member of the German Orthopaedic Society (DGOOC), German Society for Surgery, Society of Trauma Surgeons (DGU), European Hip Society Member of the European Musculo-Skeletal Oncology Society (EMSOS), Societe Internationale de Chirurgie Orthopedique et de Traumatologie (SICOT), and many more reputed organizations. He is also a Co-editor of “Der Orthopäde“, Springer Verlag Heidelberg; and acts on the Advisory board of “Der Unfallchirurg“, Springer Verlag Heidelberg; “Trauma und Berufskrankheit“ der Berufsgenossenschaftlichen Kliniken, Springer Verlag Heidelberg; and “Der Chirurg“, Springer Verlag Heidelberg. He pursued medicine at several universities such as the Free University of Berlin, the University of Innsbruck, the University of Vienna from 1968 to 1975. He has expertise in joint replacement, arthroscopic joint surgery, spinal surgery, bone & soft tissue sarcomas, shoulder surgery, foot surgery, pediatric Orthopedecian, and hand surgery.
